Hywoods Construction Company, Inc. was incorporated in 1979 in Virginia.

In 1998, Hywoods Construction moved to Raleigh, NC and became Stredvey Construction. The company operated as Stredvey Construction until 2008, when the company was sold. Stredvey Construction grew from a $6M company to a $60M company in a period from 2001 to 2008. The name has changed but the talent and experience of the company has not. The same key personnel that grew the company is still in place.

Our personnel have produced many satisfied clients. This success has allowed us to complete a long list of commercial, institutional, retail, and multi-family projects.

Our successes and growths materialize and continue to the present as proof of utilizing new ideas to reshape our Business Plan and the team work of dedicated personnel.

Mission Statement

Continue to create successful team strategies to complete projects for our clients in terms of their requirements of budget, time frame, and peace of mind. Build long-term relationships of trust and respect with an honest and direct approach to over-coming obstacles faced in construction.

Contract Packages- Design/ Build, Construction Management, Build/ Lease, Joint Venture Participation, Negotiated, and Traditional Bid Process.

Investment Opportunities- Equity investment and permanent financing opportunities currently exist in development projects in several states:

  • Senior Developments- Independent Living, Assisted Living, Cottage Communities.
